I heard about the Mary Kay brand maybe only once so I was looking forward to trying a completely new brand that I never seen or heard before. Upon receiving the package, I did take a look around their website to understand a little bit more about their company. Check out their company profile here.
Prior to using Mary Kay, my hands were pretty dried due to the cold winter temperatures. Every hand cream I used did not seem to work efficiently. I was ecstatic when I saw this package in the mail. It did not take long for me to test the set out in hopes of a miracle to get back softer hands. After a few days of trying the products my hands were noticeably smoother and most definitely softer.
Because it was a set, I followed the step-by-step routine.
First, I applied a small amount of the Mary Kay Satin Hands Hand Softener and rubbed my hands together. It was suggested to dampen hands with water prior, for added hydration. The Hand Softener has a thick balm-like texture, once applied with water, it does feel a bit weird, like rubbing water on Vaseline.
Next, while still having the Hand Softener on, I massaged Mary Kay Satin Hands Satin Smoothie Hand Scrub into hands and between fingers. Then rinsed and pat dry. The scrub has a loose, gel-like consistency with what feels like micro-beads that dissolves. My hands at this stage feels soft and smooth!
Lastly, I used Mary Kay Satin Hands Hand Cream and massaged it into hands and between fingers. The Hand Cream has a lightweight, non-greasy cream consistency and left my hands very soft and silky.
After just ONE use of the Mary Kay Satin Hands Pampering Set, my hands felt so much softer and smoother. Overall, this set is great for anyone who has dry hands or simply wants a bit of moisture and hydration on their hands – especially during the colder season.
