I’m always searching for that perfect nude lipstick. I have found a few that are close and I’m pretty satisfy with them but I have yet to find that particular nude lipstick shade with the right finish. It can’t be too pink, not too brown tone, doesn’t make my lips look washed out, no shimmer, doesn’t dry out my lips, and the lists goes on.
Okay, so I’m picky but I’m not – I mean, I gave all the other nude lippies a chance but I’m still searching for the one. Kinda like The Bachelorette but with lipsticks. But I think it’s safe to say my search may be over thanks to L’Oreal Colour Riche Ultra Matte Lipstick.
L’Oreal Colour Riche Ultra Matte Lipstick is very similar to the L’Oreal Colour Riche Matte Lipsticks. The only difference that I can detect is that it’s more matted. The Colour Riche Matte Lipsticks have a bit of a shine whereas the the Colour Riche Ultra Matte is completely matte.
Now, I know the Colour Riche Matte Lipsticks are suppose to be matte, which they are, but if you were to compare the Matte and Ultra Matte Lipsticks (pictured), there’s a noticeable difference.
Other than that, similar to the Colour Riche Matte Lipsticks, the Ultra Matte Lipsticks are creamy, non-drying, and comfortable to wear throughout the day.
The shade Full-Blown Fawn is going straight to the very top of my favourite nude lipstick shade list. It has that perfect nude shade I have been searching for, it’s not too pink and not too brown tone. Sure, it’s a matte finish but I am able to top off a bit of shine to the center of my lips and create a lip look that can be worn day and night.
The shade Darling Blush is what the name states. It’s truly a darling pink blush shade. It’s a great neutral shade that has a pop of pink that goes well with any makeup look, whether it’s for the day to run errands or a night out.
