There is so much going on while the world is on a standstill.
The past couple of weeks have been a whirlwind, with each day’s motto being, expect the unexpected. It’s so hard to wrap my head around all this. Some days it feels like a bad dream, other days you accept this new reality.
I actually had a couple of posts scheduled but with all the news coming in by the minute, it didn’t feel right for me to have them go live at this time. So right now, they are all currently on hold and hopefully when things get a little better, I’ll get back to my regular postings. In the meantime, I thought I’ll share what’s been on my mind.
We’ve all heard of Keep Calm and Carry On:
From Wikipedia – Keep Calm and Carry On was a motivational poster produced by the British government in 1939 in preparation for World War II. The poster was intended to raise the morale of the British public, threatened with widely predicted mass air attacks on major cities.
But during these uncertain times it’s hard to forget to Be Kind, not only to yourself but to others. So let this be a reminder to Keep Calm and Carry On Be Kind:
Be Kind to Everyone; you don’t know how they’re doing, the last thing you want to do is harm their health (mental, physical, emotional).
Be Kind to Retailers and their staffs; they’re doing the best they can to provide exceptional service and satisfying every customer.
Be Kind to Healthcare Professionals; they are working hard around the clock to care for everyone.
Be Kind to Local & Small Businesses; support them in anyway you can, they are what makes it a neighbourly community.
Be Kind to Yourself; take care and do something that makes you happy/zen.
Stay safe, be well, together we will get through this. Need an activity to do at home? Check out these at-home activities you can do to combat boredom.
