How To Celebrate Earth Day Ideas

Happy Earth Day!

In honour of Earth Day, I have roundup a few related posts from the blog that will, in hopes, provide you with ideas on how to upcycle and perhaps treat the earth a little more friendlier.

From reusing bottles and jars to swapping out single-use waste for a more permanent option, the little things you do may seem small and unhelpful but I promise you, it will make a huge impact in the environment, and in the wallet – it’s a win-win situation!

Reusing Candle Jars – Candle jars are one of the best items to be reused. You can use them to store just about anything, from storing cotton pads and swabs in your bathroom counter to using it as a flower vase. The possibilities are endless, so check out the post for more ideas. I also included a How To guide to removing the last remaining bit of wax from the jar.

How To Remove Sticker Residue – If you want to reuse those bottles and jars but the packaging label is stuck-on, this post will guide you on how to cleanly remove sticker labels and residue. But if your packaging label is paper and is glued on, submerge the bottle or jar into water for an hour or so and it’ll easily remove itself.

Easy DIY Wall Art – A fun little activity for the family or just for you. Using simply paper towel/toilet paper rolls, get creative and design your very own wall art that you can display proudly.

Zero Waste Baking Supplies – Reduce waste and swap out single-use baking supplies with there zero waste alternatives. A more permanent solution when it comes to baking and it’ll help the environment while still enjoying those sweet treats!
