Vaseline Petroleum Jelly has been a life saver for as long as I remember. Chapped lips, cuts, burns, dried heels, you name it. I carry a mini jar of Vaseline everywhere I go but there have been times I would not dare to bust out the jar to use in public for sanitary reasons. Thankfully, Vaseline has come out with a stick version which makes it easier to use while on-the-go.
Vaseline All-Over Body Balm Jelly Stick protects and locks in moisture on-the-go. The Jelly Stick can be used on skin that is dry, stressed, or sensitive and is clinically proven to help heal dry, damaged skin. It delivers targeted healing for hard to reach spots and is great for protection against friction and preventing chafing. Vaseline Jelly Stick is a non-greasy and mess-free formula, so there is no need to rub in anything. Plus, its TSA-friendly packaging means you can bring it with you everywhere you go.
How To Use:
Screw off the lid and apply directly to skin. Excellent for dry spots, cuts, burns, or chafing. Repeat as needed throughout day.
The Vaseline Jelly Stick (40g / 1.4oz) has the same balm-like texture and goes on just like the original Vaseline Petroleum Jelly. It heals chapped skin and combats dry skin. The only difference is the packaging, there’s no need to dig your fingers into a jar for the product, one can simply apply it straight from the stick. I like using the stick mainly because it’s easier and mess-free to use, plus you can directly apply as much or as little as needed.
The only downside of the Jelly Stick is that I wouldn’t use this product literally all-over my body for hygienic reasons. For example, I wouldn’t apply it on my lips after I had already used it for my dried heels. If you’re going to use it for your lips, then stick to using it for your lips – or if you want to use it all over your face, I suggest rubbing your finger on the product and then applying. If you’re using it on dry skin then solely use on dry skin around the body.
Overall, if you’re a fan of the original Vaseline Petroleum Jelly from the jar but want a more sanitary, travel-friendly version, the Vaseline Jelly Stick is the perfect product to take on-the-go.
