DERMA E Vitamin C Instant Radiance Citrus Facial Peel is a radiance-boosting, non-abrasive blend of Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHA) to help resurface and smooth skin’s texture to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles for a healthier, youthful-looking complexion.
Formulated with Fruit Stay C-50, glycolic and lactic acids, and lemon extract, this facial peel helps to loosen and lift dead skin cells and impurities to deliver visible results. After just one use, uncover a fresh, healthy-looking and beautifully radiant glow.
It is enriched with: Vitamin C which is a potent antioxidant with skin-brightening and anti-aging properties that may help to support collagen health. DERMA E uses a stable form of Vitamin C that won’t evaporate or alter before absorbing into the skin. Citrus Fruit Peel Puree helps to improve the appearance of discolouration, dark spots and uneven skin tone. And Glycolic Acid uses AHA properties to help safely and effectively remove dead surface skin cells.
HOW TO USE
- Apply the facial peel once per week after cleansing. Avoid eye area and do not apply on broken or irritated skin.
- SET: Spread a rich even layer of the facial peel to the face (and optionally on the neck, décolleté, and tops of hands) and leave it on for 3-5 minutes.
- MASSAGE: After 3-5 minutes, use the mini spoon provided to remove the peel while massaging the skin, this helps to increase blood circulation and oxygen flow to the facial muscles.
- WASH: After removing the peel, rinse with cool water to neutralize the peel, a slight tingling after application is normal. Follow with a moisturizer.
As someone who gets hyperpigmentation, I love adding Vitamin C into my skin care routine to give it a little boost to lighten hyperpigmentation, even out my skin tone and give my skin a radiant glow. With that being said, I have only ever tried Vitamin C in the form of serums and moisturizers and I love them, so this facial peel shouldn’t be any different.
Firstly, the DERMA E Vitamin C Instant Radiance Citrus Facial Peel smells like fresh oranges with the texture similar to a fruit puree with clumps of what looks to me like orange peels. Once I applied a decent amount (not too thin, not overly thick) of the facial peel onto my face, the mask felt refreshing with a bit of a tingle. After leaving it on for 5 minutes, I took the mini spoon that was provided and gently removed the facial peel off in an upwards direction. Any product I couldn’t get off, I go in and rinse it off by massaging my face with water. Optionally, you can use a damp towel to remove the peel. I then pat my face semidry with a face towel and applied a moisturizer.
I was expecting this facial peel to be an actual peel where the product dries out and satisfyingly peels off, so don’t expect to wait until it is fully dry because that won’t likely happen. But nonetheless, I still enjoyed using this facial peel, I loved how radiant and smooth my skin look and felt afterwards, and the smell of oranges was delightful.

I like how you massage before rinsing with the spoon.
I LOVEEE massaging while removing the any product off (especially masks) because it helps stimulate blood flow and relieves muscles tension, it’s like a 2-in-1 step 🙂
I love a nice gentle but exfoliating face peel! This sounds so good!
They’re the best, right?! I’m loving this vitamin c peel so much 🙂
