I had high hopes for this mascara based on all the claims from being full, volumizing, lifted lashes to clump-free and smudge-proof. To be honest, I am quiet impress. I loved the way the wand look, it was shaped to fit the eyes so it was easy to coat every lash. The mascara itself was lightweight, provided a bit of volume and didn’t clump but it did produce a bit of flaking. I found it didn’t really lengthen my lashes but it definitely made them look a bit fuller.
Overall, the Lancome Lash Idole Mascara is a great mascara. Though, if you want to add length to your lashes while also using this mascara, I suggest adding a lash primer such as the Lancome Cils Booster XL Eyelash Primer (review) beforehand. And if the price of this mascara seems steep, a similar mascara at a more reasonable price I would suggest is the Maybelline The Falsies Mascara (review).
