Revlon serves a variety of foundation, from a well-known favourite to a full coverage matte foundation. Now, Revlon introduces a product line that includes ingredients consumers skin wants and without the ones we don’t while also maintaining their well-known quality.
Revlon PhotoReady Candid is a collection of skin-protective ingredients such as anti-pollution, antioxidant, and anti-blue-light while excluding ingredients such as oils, parabens, phthalates, synthetic dyes, and harsh fragrances.
Revlon PhotoReady Candid Natural Finish Anti-Pollution Foundation
This skin-enhancing, natural-looking foundation that delivers a flawless finish while also hydrates skin all day long. A medium coverage that feels weightless and looks like your best skin!
It feels good with: anti-pollution, antioxidant, and anti-blue-light ingredients to protect your skin. And it feels better without: oils, parabens, phthalates, synthetic dyes, and harsh fragrances.
The Revlon PhotoReady Candid Natural Finish Anti-Pollution Foundation is available in 31 makeup shades.
How To Use:
– Use the pump to dispense the amount of foundation you want onto a cosmetics sponge, a buffing brush, or your fingers. (Better to start with less and add more if you need it – the coverage is buildable!)
– Blend onto skin, working from the center of your face outward
– For the best results, finish with PhotoReady Candid Anti-Pollution Setting Powder
The Revlon PhotoReady Candid Natural Finish Anti-Pollution Foundation is easy to dispense with its pump dispenser. Consistency wise, it’s not too runny nor too thick. The application process is also easy, it provides a medium coverage that is easily blendable, leaving a flawless finish on the skin with no cakey texture.
The foundation feels smooth on the skin. I do need to note that if you have dry skin, use a really good moisturizer and primer as the foundation does leave behind dry patches. Overall, it’s a great foundation that’s lightweight and provide a natural finish.
Revlon PhotoReady Candid Antioxidant Concealer
This concealer with medium coverage camouflages dark circles and puff, with a jolt of caffeine to help wake up tired skin. It’s also excellent at disguising blemishes and other things you’d rather not see.
It feels good with: a formula that includes a protective antioxidant, along with anti-pollution and anti-blue-light ingredients. It feels better without: oils, parabens, phthalates, synthetic dyes, or harsh fragrances – making it ideal for delicate undereye skin and a great concealer for sensitive skin!
The Revlon PhotoReady Candid Antioxidant Concealer comes in a flexible doe-foot for precision application and is available in 18 shades.
How To Use:
– Using the plush applicator, dot the concealer directly onto undereye areas in need of coverage and blend with your fingers or a sponge
– Most darkness and puff lurk near the inner eyes, so start there and work outward (don’t sweep it all over initially; you’ll get too much product)
– For blemishes, dab a tiny bit on top, then feather out the edges
The Revlon PhotoReady Candid Antioxidant Concealer is similar to the Natural Finish Anti-Pollution Foundation. It’s slightly thicker in terms of consistency but once applied, it leaves a smooth finish. Because this concealer is a medium coverage, it does conceal the undereyes and any blemishes, but only if they’re light however, if their darker blemishes, I would suggest to use a colour corrector before applying the concealer.
Revlon PhotoReady Candid Anti-Pollution Setting Powder
Revlon’s lightweight, ultra-fine loose setting powder evens out skin tone and sets makeup while it protects.
It feels good with: antioxidants and anti-pollution ingredients, to help fight aging. It feels better without: parabens, phthalates, synthetic dyes, and harsh fragrances.
It has a built-in sifter that minimizes mess. The Revlon PhotoReady Candid Anti-Pollution Setting Powder is available in 3 shades (the powder’s still translucent, with just a hint of tint).
How To Use:
– Twist off the lid and open the pull tab, then shake gently
– Dip a powder brush into the loose setting powder and dust over your face in a buffing motion
– Reapply as needed throughout the day to reduce shine
I didn’t find the Revlon PhotoReady Candid Anti-Pollution Setting Powder to be anything out of the ordinary compared to other setting powders out there. It does what it does – sets the makeup. The makeup (foundation and concealer) stayed on all day and didn’t leave my skin looking overly dry or leave any white powder over my face.
Packaging wise, the lid that comes with the built-in sifter does minimize mess. Overall, it’s a good setting powder to round up the collection but if you have a favourite setting powder in your collection, you can go without this.
