STEP 1: Shake

Hold the can upside down and spray into the palm of your hand. While most foam products dispense upright, we flipped the bottle on its head, resulting in a lighter, faster-drying product. Use a peach-sized dollop to start, but feel free to add more if needed.

STEP 3: Massage
Spread the product throughout your hair and massage in with your fingertips. The product will feel wet at first, but it’s an illusion! It will dry in 60 seconds.

STEP 4: Style
Refreshed, revived and ready to go. Style as desired or leave as is.

Dry shampoos are normally not my thing because I’ve always seem to have no luck with using them – my hair always ends up looking and feeling oily after application than before. That’s not to say ALL dry shampoos are a lost cause, there are just few and far that seem to do the trick, hence why I rather forego them and just wash my hair every other day. That was until I tried Batiste Waterless Cleansing Foam.

I have to start off by saying I absolutely LOVE this waterless cleansing foam! I’ve never used anything like this before – do they even exist elsewhere? If they do, please let me know! I used it in the morning on a third day hair, which my scalp was overly oily and not a good look, and the moment I worked the foam into my roots… WOW!

I mean, the coconut scent was divine – envision the smell of coconut whipped cream. But the product, oh my love! It comes out foamy and after working the foam in, it does feel wet at first but it dries almost immediately without any tacky, sticky or greasy residue. My hair instantly felt and looked cleansed and smooth with an added shine, and no one would have guessed I haven’t washed my hair in three days. Even throughout the day, I was hesitant that my hair would suddenly show its oils but nope, it stayed looking and feeling clean.

I actually left my hair unwashed for another night, just to see how it’ll hold up and to my surprise, I woke up to what felt like second day hair. I would have loved to challenge myself on how long I can extend my washes but the clean freak in me can’t help but wonder about possible bacteria build up. I’m pretty sure with this waterless cleansing foam, I am able to wash my hair once a week and perhaps “reset” my overstimulated hair oil glands.
