Herbal Essences has been the haircare brand in many households for years. There is no reason why it shouldn’t. The scent of any Herbal Essences product provides a fragrance that cannot be put down. The New Naked Volume collection is no different.
A refreshing rush of grapefruit and mint reminisce a tropical island adventure. Herbal Essences states the scent provides a “juicy citrus, peach blossom with touches of guava, crisp mint, and a little white jasmine.” They weren’t kidding!
The Shampoo has a thick gel-like consistency while the conditioner was more of a thick cream texture. Both lathered well into my hair and rinsed off easily. The Volumizing Souffle has a whipped-souffle, foam consistency – a little goes a long way, so I highly recommend dispensing a minimal amount and have it work into your hair first.
When it comes to scent, while the shampoo was lathering onto my hair, a strong punch of citrus with a pinch of mint went straight to my senses. Same goes for the conditioner and the volumizing soufflé!
However, if strong fruity or mint scents bothers you, this product may not be for you. Unless you’re willing to bare the smell of tropical sensation to achieve volumized hair!
The end results were amazing! My hair felt super soft, lightweight, and bouncy – the same results if you were to leave the salon after a new do!
