Sonia Kashuk Pearlescence Long Wear Creme Shadow Review

The Sonia Kashuk Pearlescence Long Wear Crème Shadow is a luxe, long-wearing crème metallic shadow that delivers a gilded look and brighter, more youthful-looking eyes. The weightless formula glides evenly with a wand applicator and last for up to 14 hours. Sesame, neem, and Indian senna seed oil offers restoring, anti-inflammatory, and moisturizing properties while light diffusing properties in the pigments gives a smoother finish.

Easy to wear on it’s own or with other eyeshadows. It’s lightweight, long lasting, fragrance-free and provides a creamy consistency. These crème shadows are perfect for the holidays or for any night out. They are also sheer enough to wear during the day if you want a little shimmer in your eye makeup. They come in four shades, each with a subtle metallic finish:

Diamond – Pale champagne | Moonstone – Icy taupe | Quartz – Rustic rose | Tiger’s Eye – Bronzed brown

Application couldn’t be easier. Simply use the wand applicator to dot the eye with product and blend with finger, cosmetic sponge/beauty blender. You can wear it alone and apply it all over the lid for a wash of metallic colour or as a finishing touch on top of eyeshadows for that hint of shimmer. One thing to note, the product sets pretty quickly, once it’s on and blended out, it stays on. Hence, it wears without smudging, creasing, or fading. To remove product, just use a waterproof makeup remover.

Overall, although I only have one Sonia Kashuk crème shadow (Diamond), I love it! The shades are subtle enough for any day wear and there’s no need to worry about smudging or fading. It glides on smoothly and doesn’t irritate the eyes in any way.

Before trying the crème shadows, I never tried anything like it. When I saw Sonia Kashusk’s Pearlescence Long Wear Crème Shadow at Target before they closed in Canada, I had to pick one up. Unfortunately I only picked up one because it was the only colour available. I’m pretty sadden that I wasn’t able to get the other shades but I’m hoping to make a trip down south soon (fingers crossed) and go on a Target shopping spree.
