Pucker up with L’Oreal Colour Riche Matte Lipsticks! L’Oreal’s richest matte lip colour comes with a selection of gorgeous shades ranging from bold to nude. They provide a creamy texture and intense hydration, making it super comfortable to wear.
I always love a good matte lipstick. How does one define a good matte lipstick? When it doesn’t dry out the lips, doesn’t crease into the lips, creamy and moisturizing is a plus. I knew I could rely on L’Oreal with their matte lipsticks. Their Colour Riche Lip Colours are amongst my favourite in terms of formula and shade range so the matte version shouldn’t be any different.
My first thought of the Colour Riche Matte Lip was how incredibly creamy the lipstick was – it didn’t feel drying, whatsoever. Even throughout the day, the lipstick felt comfortable to wear and stayed on creamy. The shades are true to their product shade and the scent is your typical lipstick scent.
Rarely do I go for a bright and bold lip shade and 712 Matte Mandate seemed a bit out of my league based on first impressions. But once applied to the lips, I surprised myself – it didn’t look too bad, I quite like it. This magenta shade is subtle enough that it can be worn on a day-to-day basis by anyone.
I love “my-lips-but-better” lipsticks and 800 Matte-Caron provides a light nude shade with a slight pink tint. This shade is a great everyday lip colour for when I want a little bit of pink on my lips. But it looks even better when it is paired with a smokey eye.
802 Matte-Sterpiece is probably my favourite out of the three I swatched. I love a nude lip shade but I always struggle to find a perfect nude that isn’t too light, too dark, too pink, too brown. Matte-Sterpiece is my ideal nude shade – not too pink, not too brown.
