Who doesn’t love a foundation that moisturizes, evens and smoothes the skin AND provides that radiant, natural-looking finish?! When I read all the claims from Burt’s Bees Goodness Glows Liquid Makeup, I was pretty excited. I love foundations that not only do good for the skin but also looks good and provide that full coverage but natural look.
When I first applied the foundation, it instantly left my skin looking flawless! It did a wonderful job at covering my acne marks and evened out my skin tone. The finish is dewy and really gives that natural glowy look. I love how lightweight and smooth it felt and looked on my skin.
That being said, because I have combination skin, the foundation provides a dewy look in the beginning but after a few hours of wear, it gives a bit of a slight matte finish and by midday, my smile lines are noticeable. That’s not to say it’s a deal breaker but if I were to wear this foundation, I would have to bring like a blending brush and blend the foundation ever few hours in order to maintain a flawless looking skin.
Overall, I like this foundation but it’s not enough for me to love it. It’s definitely a good foundation to wear for a short period of time or for those who have “perfect” skin but want a bit of enhancement.
