During the hotter seasons, I tend to gravitate towards lighter-weight face makeup, as I lather a *bleep* load of sunscreen. I wish I can go bare face (with just sunscreen) but my skin isn’t at that stage yet, so tinted moisturizers are one of my go-to for the summertime – sometimes I mix a tiny drop of foundation with sunscreen. But when there’s a sunscreen that provides a bit of colour, I am always curious to see if works in my favour.
Vichy Ultra-Fluid Mineral Tinted Sunscreen Lotion in SPF60 has a formula with 100% Mineral Filter. This tinted sunscreen lotion’s formula protects against UVA and UVB. It’s lightweight and provides a silky texture with no white residue. It’s non-greasy, non-shiny, and non-sticky. The formula also consists of Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Water to boost skin’s defense system.
Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Water – Drawn from a depth of 4,000 metres at the natural springs of France’s Auvergne region, Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Water is a concentrate of 15 minerals at an amount of 5.2 grams per litre. Formulated by nature and irreproducible by science, this prodigious water is brimming with benefits for skin.
Efficacy
– 100% Mineral Filter
– SPF 60
– 80 minute water and sweat resistant
– Moisturizing tinted sunscreen, ideal for face and daily use
– With soothing and fortifying Vichy Mineralizing Thermal Water
How To Use:
Apply the sunscreen lotion generously and evenly 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply sunscreen at least every 2 hours, after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating and immediately after towel drying.
The Vichy Ultra-Fluid Tinted Sunscreen Lotion has a runny consistency. Once applied, it leaves a smooth texture on the skin with a bit of a matte-like finish. It does not have a greasy or sticky feel – which is always a plus. Its tint is universal and it seems to go well with my skin tone. Scent-wise, there’s no scent detected.
Although I enjoy this tinted sunscreen, I would say this isn’t a good product for those who have dry skin as it’ll visibly show dry patches. Overall, it’s a great sunscreen with a nice lightweight tint that provides a subtle glow on the skin.
