How To Use:

  • Place a few drops of primer into hands and rub them together to melt the oil beads
  • Apply the product all over your face and let it set for a few minutes
  • Apply any liquid, cream, or powder foundation afterward
  • OR, simply wear this rosy primer alone to give skin a little healthy-looking luminescence

This Revlon PhotoReady Rose Glow primer has a light floral scent. It’s a very lightweight primer that isn’t sticky and leaves the skin smooth and moisturized. A little goes a long way, I would say 1-2 drops is enough to cover the entire face. The primer does have a subtle bit of a shimmer which gives skin that glow. When worn with foundation, the glowy shimmer is a little less noticeable but my makeup as a whole stayed on throughout the day.

Personally, I wouldn’t use this primer on its own unless I apply the tiniest amount, the glow is a bit overwhelming. However, I would apply this primer onto my collarbones and exposed shoulders during the summer for an extra glow.

What are your thoughts on Revlon PhotoReady Rose Glow Hydrating + Illuminating Primer? Do you like primers that have a bit of shimmery glow?
