Launched in 2025 by Tamara McKaig, Wylder Organics is a Canadian, clean, accessible skincare brand with focuses on using gentle, potent, plant-based ingredients. Their product names are inspired by their core ingredients (example: Fireweed, Kawakawa, Pohutukawa, Willowherb) and hero ingredients include potent Canadian Chaga Mushroom to New Zealand Manuka Honey.
With a wide range of products from creams, oils, elixirs to masks, face mists, blams and even accessories such as Konjac sponges, gua sha and body brushes, Wylder Organics is a one-stop shop for skincare. Best part of all, they are all made without parabens, sulfates, synthetic scents or colours, and are vegan and cruelty-free.
Tamara was kind enough to send over Wylder Organics Mini Radiant Ritual Kit for me to try out and I must say, although mini, a little goes a long way and lasts quite a few weeks. Check out my reviews of each product from the kit and let me know your thoughts on them.
ARCTIC ROSE – Luminous Cleansing Balm
This potent blend of plant-derived oils gently yet effectively melts away impurities, makeup, and daily grime, leaving skin feeling soft, clean, and deeply hydrated. Formulated with hydrating Plum and Harakeke Seed Oils, this balm also features soothing Cupuaçu Seed Butter and Marula Seed Oil to nourish and protect. Wildharvested Chaga Mushroom Extract further enhance its revitalizing and nourishing properties.
The Ritual: Warm a small amount of balm between your fingertips. Gently massage onto dry skin in circular motions. Add a splash of warm water to emulsify the balm, then rinse clean. For an extra boost of nourishment, leave the balm on for a few minutes as a mini-mask before rinsing off.
This cleansing balm has a thick, buttery, balm texture that melts easily. It gently yet effectively removed all makeup including foundation, waterproof mascara and red lipstick. Best part of all, after rinsing off the balm, my skin was left cleansed and hydrated before moving on to the next step.
SWEETGRASS – Hydrating Face Mist
This revitalizing mist instantly hydrates, rebalances, and refreshes the skin. Featuring Canadian Sweetgrass and nutrient-rich Spirulina, its refreshing formula nourishes the complexion, leaving it feeling exceptionally comfortable, soft, and visibly radiant. An essential step to restore harmony to your skin.
The Ritual: Mist generously onto clean skin. Use daily, morning and night, after cleansing. Reapply as needed throughout the day to refresh and soothe.
Facial mists are always nice to have on hand, whether after cleansing or just when you need a little refreshing spritz. This hydrating face mist has a lovely sweetgrass scent and leaves the skin instantly hydrating and a refreshed glow. It has a very light mist, the nozzle dispenses the spritz onto the skin oh-so-gently. I love using this throughout the day and a little pick-me-up.
PŌHUTUKAWA – Age-Defense Eye Cream
A restorative cream that targets the delicate eye area to defend against visible signs of aging. Powered by antioxidant-rich New Zealand Pōhutukawa, this nurturing formula hydrates deeply to visibly smooth the look of fine lines and diminish the appearance of dark circles. It leaves the eye area looking brighter, firmer, and revitalized.
The Ritual: Using your ring finger, gently pat a half-pea-sized amount around the clean eye area until absorbed. Use daily, morning and night.
This unscented eye cream has a nice cream texture – not too thick, not too thin. It applies beautifully, leaving a lightweight, smooth, and hydrating feel under the eyes. The under eyes look more brighter, less puffy and the fine lines around look visibly smoother, providing a more awake appearance.
MANUKA – Resilience Nourishing Cream
A rich, restorative cream powered by New Zealand Manuka, this rich cream fortifies the skin’s natural barrier and visibly improves resilience. It delivers deep, lasting moisture, leaving the complexion feeling supple, comforted, and healthy. This formula absorbs beautifully, providing a perfect base for makeup or a nourishing final step in your nightly ritual.
The Ritual: After cleansing and misting, apply a pea-sized amount to clean, damp skin. Gently massage into the face and neck until fully absorbed. Use morning and night for best results.
This deeply hydrating and nourishing cream is completely scentless and has a lightweight creamy texture. It absorbs almost immediately once applied and leaves the skin moisturized, smooth, and supple.
Overall, I found this Radiant Ritual Kit to be a wonderful introduction to Wylder Organics and I will definitely be checking out their other products in the near future. Not only are the products beyond lovely to use but they are a Canadian company, which I’m happy to support!
