Helena Lane Organic Skincare is a cruelty-free, face and body brand, handmade by Helena in Squamish, British Columbia with certified organic and plant- or mineral-based ingredients.
I recently shared a few products from Helena Lane Organic Skincare that I have incorporated into my winter skincare. Now that it’s spring, I like to change up my skincare to include products that aren’t too rich and thick. Below are products from Helena Lane that would work perfectly into a spring/summer skincare routine.
Helena Lane Organic Skincare Jojoba & Calendula Calming Cleanser

Perfect for all skin types, especially very sensitive and reactive skin, this calming cleanser uses 100% certified organic ingredients. It effectively removes dirt, makeup and pollution while supporting and maintaining skin’s protective barrier.
Calendula soothes and cools sensitive and irritable skin and promotes skin healing and regeneration. And jojoba oil regulates sebum production in dry and oily skin. There are no harsh surfactants to strip the skin of natural oils and cause irritation.
How to Use:
- Take a pea sized amount and massage into a warm damp face.
- Leave it on for 2 minutes or use it as a mask and leave it on for 20 minutes
- Remove with a warm damp cloth. If you are removing lots of dirt or makeup you may need to repeat.
- The goal is to not need any product after cleansing, however if needed, follow with a Hydrating Mist or Serum and a Face Oil.
Similarly to the Chamomile & Mandarin Nourishing Cleanser, this cleansing balm removed all traces of product left on my face. I use a little more than a pea size amount and would massage it around my face before removing the cleanser using a damp cloth. My skin always feels cleansed and smooth without feeling overly cleansed and stripping the skin.
Helena Lane Organic Skincare Green Tea & Blue Algae Soothing Oat Mask

A deeply soothing, creamy mask with antioxidants to reduce redness and strengthen the skin. This oat mask is for all skin types, especially sensitive, damaged and mature skin. It uses 98% certified organic ingredients and 2% wild crafted blue-green algae.
Colloidal oats are rich in vitamins, minerals and essential fats. They are very anti-inflammatory and help to lock oils and water into the skin. Matcha green tea and blue green algae contain anti-inflammatory properties that reduces the redness associated with reactive and damaged skin types, such as rosacea and eczema. They are also very high in antioxidants to fight UV damage and premature aging.
How to Use:
- Mix with water to form a paste.
- Apply to warm, damp face and neck in gentle circular motions.
- Leave it on for 10 minutes. Rinse well with warm water.
- Follow with a Hydrating Mist or Serum and then Moisturizer or Face oil.
- For best results use once or twice a week.
I love applying a face mask every few days and enjoying the relaxation for a couple of minutes. This soothing oat mask comes in a powder form – I used about 1/4 teaspoon of powder and gradually add a tiny amount of water until it forms into a green paste. Once applied, it feels soothing on the skin. It rinses off easily and leaves my skin feeling smooth before following up with the rest of my skincare routine.

Rosehip seed oil is rich in essential fats and vitamin A which is important for cell regeneration and keeping skin clear, supple and toned, it also helps minimize scars and speed up skin healing.
Sea buckthorn contains unparalleled amounts of carotenoids, which strengthen skin’s defenses against UV and repair damage already done, and omega 7, a super anti-inflammatory with tissue repairing qualities. It is also very rich in vitamin A. The essential oils of chamomile & geranium work to balance oils, calm irritations, kill infections and create radiance to all skin.
