Whether you’re heading to a sunny destination or simply running errands in the city, it’s important to wear sunscreen daily! Yes, I know, it can be tedious to apply sunscreen on every. single. day especially when some days aren’t as sunny and hot but the amount of times I’ve been told the importance of sun protection, the more I drilled it into my routine. By now, I can’t get away from not applying SPF on (wherever my skin would be exposed to the sun) before heading out the door everyday.
But there had been times when I would dread applying sunscreen. Why? Because of the texture, the white cast, the scent, one or all of those just makes me feel uncomfortable. Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen in SPF 50 seemed promising. Having used and love Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Creams, I was confident the sunscreen would provide a lightweight formula that instantly feels hydrating and moisturized.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen SPF 50
Redefine your sunscreen experience with Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen SPF 50 with a water-light feel and broad spectrum UVA/UVB protection. Infused with hyaluronic acid and glycerin, this formula instantly quenches dry skin.
How to UseApply liberally 15 minutes before sun exposure. Reapply at least every two hours or after 80 minutes of swimming or sweating and immediately after towel drying.
The Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen is very lightweight on the skin. The consistency of the sunscreen is very liquidy – almost like lotion. It applies, spreads and absorbs into the skin very well, not greasy and doesn’t leave a white cast. It does have a hydrating feel on my skin but it leaves a tad bit of sunscreen texture – it’s not sticky but it definitely feels like a layer of product is on the skin. I like how it doesn’t have that typical strong sunscreen scent. It smells neutral enough that it won’t be irritating to the nose.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream
When it comes to moisturizers for the face, I always aim for something that’s hydrating. The Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream does just that. It hydrates my skin and keeps the complexion radiant, glowing and smooth. The texture of the cream isn’t like a thick gel consistency, in fact, it’s like a water-based gel which left my skin feeling and looking very hydrated. It absorbed into my skin immediately and there was no stickiness afterwards, it felt smooth to the touch. After a few days of use, my skin definitely felt and looked more refresh and rejuvenated.
Neutrogena All-in-One Make-up Removing Cleansing Wipes
The Neutrogena All-in-One Makeup Removing Cleansing Wipes are one of my favourite makeup wipes! I have included them into my skincare routine for years. They gently remove all my makeup and leaves a smooth and clean feeling. The size of the wipes are generous, one lighter makeup days I would cut the wipes in half. And on heavier makeup days, where I have a full face of makeup and waterproof eye makeup, the wipes completely removes EVERYTHING. The wipes don’t irritate the eyes and doesn’t leave a sticky or tight feeling on the face either. In terms of scents, it’s hard to describe but it’s a very calm and soothing scent.
What are your thoughts on Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel Sunscreen? Have you tried the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Gel Cream or All-in-One Make-Up Removing Cleansing Wipes? What do you look for when it comes to picking out sunscreen?
That's so cool that there is hyluronic acid in this! I was so sad I didn't get this campaign! I love my sunscreen! 😀

Yup! I loved that there was hyaluronic acid and glycerin in the sunscreen.
I got this from Chick Advisor too! I actually really like the feel of the sunscreen, I didn't realize you could use it on your face for the first week, but I love how it feels on my body and face. The boost gel cream is so amazing, I may go get a full size for the summer when my skin is so dehydrated but needs light moisture.
You should get the full size gel cream! I've been using it for years and my face feels and looks hydrated and glowy 🙂
