It’s never too early or too late to start a skincare routine. As long as you start, your skin will thank you! Same goes for using retinol and anti-aging/wrinkle products. Okay, there is such a thing as introducing retinols and anti-aging/wrinkle products too early, but I’d say mid-twenties is a good age to get started (of course, consult with a doctor or dermatologist first, if you’re unsure).
I’ve gradually started using retinol and products that are labelled “anti-aging” recently, and although there’s not a huge difference now, I know that as the years go by, my skin will (hopefully) show itself – by not showing its age. That being said, introducing my skin to retinol wasn’t just to prevent signs of wrinkles and the like, but to also help with clogged pores and fade pigmentation. Lately, retinol has made a difference in my skin’s appearance and I’m excited to try out Juice Beauty STEM CELLULAR Anti-Wrinkle skincare, including their new Retinol Overnight Serum.
Juice Beauty STEM CELLULAR Anti-Wrinkle Retinol Overnight Serum
Juice Beauty STEM CELLULAR Anti-Wrinkle Retinol Overnight Serum is designed for all skin types. It is a clean, vegan, 2.5% Bio-Retinol + Retinol serum that combines skin-rescuing technologies to help prevent the visible signs of aging and fatigue, keeping skin looking and acting youthful while you sleep. This serum glides on smoothly and leaves skin feeling hydrated. It moisturizes with jojoba, coconut and shea butters and hydrates with sodium hyaluronate and Vitamin B5. And rich antioxidant action with Evening Primrose, Vitamin E, CoQ10, grape and green tea extracts.
Clean retinol with high tech Evening Primrose encapsulation allows for stability and avoidance of toxic processing or encasement chemicals that do not have to be listed on ingredient decks. This Evening Primrose encapsulated retinol is an innovation on the market and exclusive to Juice Beauty!
How To Use:
- After cleansing, apply the serum at night to face, neck and décolleté. Limit initial use to once or twice a week, gradually increasing frequency to every other night and then every night as tolerated.
- Follow with STEM CELLULAR Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizer or STEM CELLULAR Anti-Wrinkle Overnight Cream.
IMPORTANT:
- Do not use on broken or irritated skin. Discontinue if irritation occurs. Avoid contact with the eyes. For external use only.
- This product is not recommended for pregnant women, nursing moms or women trying to conceive.
- Sunburn Alert: This product contains a retinol that may increase skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Always use a broad-spectrum sunscreen during the day when using retinols + bio-retinols.
This retinol serum has a strong lemon-lime scent that lingers for a while. It has a creamy consistency that is lightweight and applies effortlessly while absorbing into the skin almost immediately, leaving a smooth feel to touch – no stickiness. I found that this serum is gentle and doesn’t cause any stinging or redness. In the mornings after using this serum, my skin feels and looks normal with a bit of smoothness. After a few uses, I did notice my skins texture and tone seem to even out. Overall, it’s a great, gentle retinol serum.
Juice Beauty STEM CELLULAR Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizer
Juice Beauty STEM CELLULAR Anti-Wrinkle Moisturizer is ideal for all skin types. This luxurious hydrating moisturizer with a proprietary blend of fruit stem cells and Vitamin C is infused into a resveratrol-rich grape formula to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and improve skin tone and luminosity. It also provides essential fatty acid emollients and powerful antioxidant action with Evening Primrose, linseed & borage seed.
How To Use:
- After using Juice Beauty STEM CELLULAR Anti-Wrinkle Booster or Retinol Overnight Serum, apply generously to face, neck and décolleté.
This moisturizer has a mild lemon-lime scent (not as strong as the serum) that lingers for a while. It’s a thin lightweight creamy consistency and applies smoothly over the skin. It does leave the skin smooth after application but it’s not the most moisturizing moisturizer out there. In the end, my skin does look and feel smoother.
What are your thoughts on these Juice Beauty STEM CELLULAR Anti-Wrinkle Skincare? Have you tried any products from Juice Beauty? Do you use retinol in your skincare?
Interesting, I don’t know how many face products I’ve used with a lemon scent! I’m still getting the hang of using retinols in my routine!
I know a lot of people are against lemon scented products but I don’t mind it as long as my skin can tolerate and I’m not using it daily. Retinol does take a while to get used to, especially with when and what you can and cannot use them with. My suggestion would be to create a calendar and write out your routine of when to use what (actives and acids) and space them apart so that they don’t cause skin damage and irritations.
Juice beauty always sounds like they have interesting products. Both of these sound real nice. Thanks for the review
I agree! I was always intrigued with their products but never gave it a try until now.
